Week 44

There has been a lot of activity on site this week.

Joiners arrived back and fitted all shower boards to walls, finished off door frames, plaster board and stairs finished off in garage as were the internal garage door frames.

Brick pillar has been built, all steps finished, loft insulation in place and all pointing around pipes completed.

Kitchen supplier also arrived back and installed appliances and last three units. American fridge freezer delivered by Ardlodge couriers ( with Ian (Dud) almost causing himself an injury!).

Met with tiler on Thursday and he starts next Saturday morning all being well.

All rooms that we are carpeting have now been measured, and we just have to negiotiate the final price.

The big story this week was the arrival of Jerome, the stair man, on Wednesday. It only took him 4 days to create what we can only say is a masterpiece, they have definitely given the entrance the wow factor (or at least we think so anyway!).

Last couple of paint jobs now on our list to complete over the next couple of days. By Saturday teatime we had carried out a major tidy up inside the house and trailer of rubbish conveyed to dump.
